As with any professional athlete, Indiana great Jared Jeffries’ first season in the NBA was memorable. Not only was Jeffries fulfilling a lifelong dream of making it to the league, he also got a behind the scenes look at Michael Jordan’s last NBA campaign.
The 2002-03 NBA season was the final run for a 39 year-old Jordan, and the first for his 21 year old Washington Wizards teammate Jeffries.
Jeffries spoke about playing with Jordan during that season and their continuing friendship on the Wizards Talk podcast.
