The Hoosiers were led by a 32-point scoring outburst from freshman Vaughn Karvala.
IU advanced to bracket play and will take on Chile at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday in the semifinals. Argentina and the Virgin Islands will compete in the other semifinal game. The final and third-place games will be played on Monday.
