Indiana picked up a commitment from class of 2023 guard Jakai Newton on Friday afternoon.
Below you can watch extensive video highlights of him over the last year while playing for Newton High School (Covington, Ga.) and the Atlanta Xpress on the Under Armour Circuit.
The 6-foot-3 Newton is ranked the No. 67 overall player in the 2023 class according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 12 combo guard. He is Indiana’s first commit in the 2023 class.
