IU football has added a MAC opponent to the 2028 nonconference slate. Indiana and Eastern Michigan  announced on Wednesday afternoon that the teams will play in Bloomington on Sept. 9, 2028.  The Hoosiers will also face Virginia as part of their 2028 schedule. IU defeated EMU, 37-6, at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 29, 1990, in the only meeting between the two programs. The quest for nine begins in three months. Indiana men’s soccer head coach Todd Yeagley announced his team’s 2023 season schedule on Wednesday. The Big Ten Conference office announced on Tuesday the conference baseball awards for the 2023 season with Indiana well represented. IU freshman outfielder Devin Taylor highlights the 2023 postseason awards with the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award and first-team All-Big Ten. In total, six Hoosiers earned accolades from the conference coaches. Taylor is the third Hoosier to earn the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award, joining future MLB players Alex Dickerson (2009) and Sam Travis (2012). For the first time since 2013-14, the Indiana men’s basketball program has led the Big Ten Conference in attendance. The program finished 8th in the country with 273,721 fans passing through the doors of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in 17 home games. IU averaged 16,101 fans per contest and listed a capacity of 17,222 during 12 regular season matchups and two preseason exhibitions.
