It started with an IU baseball game in April. Then came the news that legendary former Indiana head coach Bob Knight was buying a house in Bloomington. Now? Well, Coach Knight seems to be popping up everywhere in Indiana. Despite reports of declining health, Knight, who turned 79 last month, has been seen in and around Bloomington on several occasions recently. Here are just a few examples. https://twitter.com/Wi11DeWitt/status/1203108441012801542?s=20 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10156653484091408&set=a.10150317405271408&type=3&eid=ARB5rAnySM1YF2dFQF_un0anxAO8_mInjVKttI1ayd5kYDD5JNid1iUSoYg5QIt-90inH8rOUm51shQ4 https://www.facebook.com/cloverleafsouth15/photos/a.536667989813840/1419487494865214/?type=3&eid=ARAtlWScKvS9S57oX8ImkY7Yk5TdyEtmk543yAdcEwE3ab68MXmWeGgvoimMtBSgry19X2Escn9yw2I_&__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARARMiAKtgDcDX7lhHT7pVEdrKYWpZkmSWv3rvzvJCp8LZSsCt7b6biuvIskxlyiQLh0dgoMF5j3GuC9M1jyoctZJayUzpyqWx3Z7P_6Ben_-eKt5ELJz2bIemJ1cyAsrec6wYKtCSCgt4ADeVWXXxiyv17J4_XPA145-UgB6xuCE4DD138fR-jTH16OgeipX2hHE7HkMBqyuTrd42b7ocSPm2NpTAjNr6grsZbdVVTKasjokd9ilZ2PNy_qNWt-LtnHyLwJlD10CCIg55wsHxtQbHIfeC2Z1FHCWz4LSTZ6RmQcUEksKuxrrVJQRKNfjabg5f6WR4vybiB0cqoby1QV0KZNttLrKE7z5DLPVDsQO7tpqvvqujJ7WYkAj7V3jS2O99IYStqpfFaYJb7wy3PrzrunB3blO8xkhAaapvnAIdXAuGA9cHhibBJ-yJbJp7QQWlg5mA-E0rIaIOXXfEMDjqUvPBnZLxJmMKRm_fUG2k3ozi3cuQ&__tn__=EHH-R https://twitter.com/MUKnights/status/1179792188466700290?s=20 And here is where it all started, when Coach Knight attended an IU baseball game in April. https://twitter.com/jimcoyleISB/status/1114588297219670017?s=20 Got a recent photo with the Coach? After a roller coaster turn of events in the first half, Indiana emerged right where they wanted to be entering the third quarter. With the ball to open the half and trailing just 20-14, IU ran seven plays and gained 15 yards out to their own 44 yard line. The drive stalled out, and with a chance to pin Penn State back deep in their own territory, it was time to punt. But Indiana head coach Tom Allen didn’t want to give the ball back — and the game changed dramatically in the blink of an eye. The Hoosiers lined…

“It’s a lot of fun to finally be able to be on the court with my teammates, feeling good, being healthy,” Indiana redshirt sophomore forward Race Thompson said on Friday. Finally being the operative word. From a first year in Bloomington where he volunteered to redshirt to a second year where a concussion forced the issue, we’ve barely gotten to know Race Thompson despite the fact that he has spent the better part of two and a half years at IU. Perhaps that is why when the Minnesota native enters the game, he seems to want to immediately make his…
Indiana had a week off, but the headlines continued to emerge from Bloomington. With the Hoosiers in the midst of what has been a special season to this point, the news was mixed. After shuffling in and out of the starting lineup with various injuries all season, quarterback Michael Penix had surgery and was declared out for the season. Next, for the first time in 25 years Indiana entered the top 25. No longer facing weekly questions at the quarterback position, and freshly anointed by the national coaches and media, the Hoosiers are ready to get back to it. Indiana…

In a loaded in-state class of 2021, a few players have emerged as priority targets for Indiana, and one of them will be on the IU campus this weekend. South Bend Riley guard Blake Wesley is taking a junior year official visit to Indiana beginning on Friday and ending on Sunday. Wesley will be in attendance for Saturday’s game against Troy. Currently ranked No. 84 in the class of 2021 according to the 247Sports Composite, Wesley might have the most untapped potential when it comes to in-state juniors. He is ranked No. 4 in the state of Indiana for his…
