Indiana is off to a good start as they look to turn a trail blazed by Damezi Anderson into a pipeline. South Bend based class of 2021 four-star guard Blake Wesley took a junior year official visit to IU this past weekend, and according to his father, the Hoosiers made a strong impression. “We had a great time. I would say that they hit one out of the park,” Derrick Wesley told The Daily Hoosier. Hailing from Riley High School, Anderson became the first scholarship basketball player from that city to attend IU since Tom Abernathy in 1973. Now Indiana…

At least in part, comments made by people inside the Nebraska football program seemed to fuel Indiana’s 38-31 win in Lincoln last month. IU Director of Athletics Fred Glass made that clear with his remarks after the game. If the Hoosiers are at their best when running on anger, Saturday’s contest against Michigan should at the very least be interesting. It seems the Wolverines have been fanning the flames since 2018. You might recall that Michigan took issue with how Indiana got in the way of the Wolverines’ annual drubbing at the hands of Ohio State last November. In the…
IU basketball head coach Archie Miller joined Don Fischer on their weekly radio show to discuss the latest with the program including the recruiting early signing period and Wednesday’s matchup with Princeton. Sophomore forward Damezi Anderson was the player guest in the final segment. Miller and Fischer discussed a number of topics including the three recruits that signed national letters of intent last week, preparations for Princeton, and more. Of particular note as it relates to the 2020 recruiting class, Miller said “we’re not done yet, the signing period is not done yet.” Indiana and Princeton tip-off at 7 p.m.…

The unstoppable force rolls on. For the tenth time in program history and for the second consecutive season, the IU men’s soccer program has doubled up on Big Ten titles. After claiming the program’s 16th regular season Big Ten title two weeks ago, the No. 8 Indiana men’s soccer team set their sights on the Big Ten tournament. The Hoosiers (14-2-4, 7-1-0 Big Ten) advanced to the tournament’s championship match on Sunday and played to a 0-0 draw against Michigan at Ludwig Field in College Park, Maryland. After two scoreless overtime periods, Indiana clinched the 2019 Big Ten Tournament title…
As the clock ticks down to the final days, IU is making one final push. According to multiple reports, Indiana coaches traveled to Minnesota today to visit with their top target on the class of 2020 recruiting board. Ryan McMullen of Zags Blog reported that both Indiana and Memphis visited Dawson Garcia for an in-home visit on Sunday. The visit is one of several for Indiana with Garcia in recent weeks, including an Oct. 25-27 official to the IU Bloomington campus. The 6-foot-11 Garcia is the No. 31 recruit nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. A versatile stretch four or point…
Indiana put together its most convincing effort of the season, and they did it at the right time. Troy was the last of four straight opponents ranked outside of the KenPom top 250 to open the season for Indiana, and the Hoosiers jumped all over the Trojans from the opening tip. The schedule is going to begin to gradually ramp up, but Indiana appears to be getting better, and healthier. Senior co-captain Devonte Green made his first appearance of the season on Saturday night. The Hoosiers (4-0) will host Princeton on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. EST. OVERALL (A-) Unlike…
