Through the first six games, Indiana’s defense was its saving grace, and the only reason some of its games were even close. Mike Woodson doesn’t hesitate when you ask him why the program pursued Northwestern transfer Miller Kopp. “We recruited him to come here to make shots,” Woodson has said repeatedly, most recently at Indiana’s media day.
