The Big Ten Network released a video of each of Indiana’s 28 touchdowns from the 2020 season from multiple angles. The Hoosiers stormed through their Big Ten only schedule with a 6-1 regular season that included wins over Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin.  IU came up short in the Outback Bowl against Ole Miss. Indiana wide receiver Camron Buckley met with the media this week to discuss his decision to transfer to IU from Texas A&M, and his thoughts on the upcoming season. Buckley missed the entire 2020 season due to injury. He suffered a season ending knee injury during fall camp in August, 2020, his final campaign at Texas A&M.  He graduated with a university studies degree in Dec. 2020. Indiana coach Mike Woodson made his first class of 2023 scholarship offer on Thursday night.  And the offer went to a priority position in the incoming high school junior class. Indiana has had a strong run during the offseason plucking high end talent from well known programs out of the transfer portal. Could they be primed to now do the same for a second time from the high school ranks? As a freshman at McCutcheon he had the high school gyms in North Central Indiana buzzing during a memorable 2019-20 campaign. We continue our class of 2023 names to know series with Ohio based point guard Lawrent Rice. Indiana has been in communication with Rice for a long time, going back to last summer, well beyond when Mike Woodson took over the program in late March. New Indiana running back Stephen Carr met with the media on Tuesday. Carr came to USC as the nation’s No. 3 running back in the 2017 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. A 5-star prospect out of Summit High School in Fontana, California, Carr played for then Trojans’ and now IU running backs coach Deland McCullough during his freshman campaign in Los Angeles. Listed at 6-foot and 215 pounds, Carr has rushed for 1,329 yards on 264 carries (5.0 average) with 12 touchdowns in four seasons with USC. Auburn transfer defensive end/bull Jaren Handy met with the media on Tuesday afternoon. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound junior from Hattiesburg, Miss., recorded three tackles including two for loss and a sack in limited action as a reserve for the Tigers in 2020. The sack came against Alabama and the tackle for loss came against Northwestern in the Citrus Bowl. As a true freshman in 2019, Handy recorded seven tackles in seven appearances.
