Indiana appears to have a major eligibility question in their defensive backfield. ESPN’s Heather Dinich is reporting safety Louis Moore is suing the NCAA in order to be eligible to play the 2025 season.  The Daily Hoosier can confirm the report via a source. “Louis Moore, a 24-year-old safety who has started games at both Ole Miss and Indiana, is suing the NCAA for another year of eligibility so he can finish his playing career with the Hoosiers, arguing that his time at Navarro Junior college in Texas should not count against him,” Dinich wrote.  He cited the potential losses…

Class of 2026 center Ethan Taylor will take an official visit to Indiana the weekend of Sept. 19 according to a report by Joe Tipton of On3. A Kansas product, Taylor is also down to a final six that includes Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, Oklahoma, and Oregon.  He plans to visit all six schools. Drew Snively was completely caught off guard by the question he got a few weeks ago. Indiana’s official visit calendar continues to swell. Add class of 2026 4-star guard Junior County to the slate. The 6-foot-5 Utah-based County will spend the weekend of Sept. 5 in Bloomington according to multiple reports. CAROLINA, Puerto Rico — Indiana guard Jason Drake did not make the trip to Puerto Rico this week due to an injury. It’s not yet clear when the injury was suffered, nor do we know the severity. Following his team’s 98-47 win over the Universidad de Bayamon Wednesday evening, IU coach Darian DeVries was asked about the status of Drake. “He’s dealing with a lower-body injury right now,” DeVries said. “We’ll have more on that later.” The injury might go back at least a week.  Drake could be seen riding a stationary bike during Indiana’s open practice last week.
