Is Indiana about to land its second commit in the 2026 class?
There are multiple predictions at national outlets indicating 2026 top-50 wing Vaughn Karvala will choose Indiana when he announces his college choice this Saturday.
247Sports’ national site has placed a high confidence staff projection that Karvala will pick IU. Meanwhile, Wisconsin-based On3 contributor Evan Flood has predicted Karvala will be a Hoosier. Karvala is from Wisconsin.
Indiana currently has one commit in its 2026 class — Maryland-based guard Prince-Alexander Moody.
A commitment by Karvala would elevate Indiana to No. 30 in the 247Sports team rankings for the 2026 class.
The 6-foot-6 Karvala is the No. 42 ranked player in the 2026 class.
Karvala recently announced his finalists are Xavier, California and Indiana. His last official visit was a trip to Indiana Oct. 17-19.
Karvala is playing this season in Arizona at Bella Vista Prep in the EYBL Scholastic League.
As a junior at Oregon H.S. (Oregon, Wisc.), Karvala posted 26.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 53.5% from the field overall including 41.9% from three.
