Indiana men’s basketball recruiting class of 2019 signees Trayce Jackson-Davis and Armaan Franklin are busy closing out their final year of high school in the classroom and on the court.

Both players are competing for the state of Indiana’s coveted Mr. Basketball award and are virtual locks to be on the Indiana All-Star team.

Jackson-Davis’ Center Grove team currently stands at 14-7 with three games remaining in the regular season.  Playing in the highly challenging Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference (“MIC”), the Trojans face the best competition in the state, with a schedule full of future division one athletes.

The 6-foot-9 forward is currently averaging 22.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game this year according to the school while shooting better than 60% from the field and becoming Center Grove’s all-time leading scorer.

The Greenwood, Indiana native was recently named to the McDonald’s All-American team.

Jackson-Davis spoke with the MIC about his commitment to Indiana:

Franklin’s Cathedral team is having a strong season.  The Irish currently stand at 16-4 with three games remaining in the regular season.

Franklin and Jackson-Davis went head to head on Nov. 30, with Center Grove coming out on top 63-60.  You can watch highlights of that game here.

According to MaxPreps, the 6-foot-4 guard is averaging 23.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game this season.

Cathedral won their third straight Indianapolis City Championship a couple weeks ago.  Franklin put together a huge game in the finale, with 29 points and six three-pointers.  You can watch highlights of that game here:
