IU Athletics released more clues this week that a new mascot is coming to Bloomington.
Former women’s basketball player Sydney Parrish, and head coaches Curt Cignetti and Darian DeVries all got into the act for social media videos teasing the soon to be announced return of the bison.
In the latest video released on Friday, a small portion of the mascot can be seen behind a basketball goal at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

A formal announcement could be coming as soon as next week.
Cignetti and DeVries will appear at a public event next Wednesday in Southern Indiana. That could be a time to debut the bovine to the public.
