Sydney Parrish will get another shot at her former team on Thursday in Indianapolis.

On Sunday evening the Big Ten announced the bracket for the 2025 women’s basketball tournament.  No. 9 seed Indiana (18-11, 10-8) will face No. 8 Oregon (19-10, 10-8) on Thursday at Noon ET.

The Hoosiers lost 54-47 to the Ducks in Eugene in the lone meeting during the regular season.

A Parrish 3-pointer as part of a 7-0 run gave the Hoosiers a 10-point edge, 32-22, with 5:36 left in the third quarter. But from that point Indiana was outscored 32-15 the rest of the way.  IU was held to just one field goal in the final 5:09 of play as the Ducks completed their comeback.

An Indiana native, Parrish played her first two seasons of college basketball for Oregon before transferring to IU ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

The Big Ten Conference’s Women’s Basketball Tournament will take place March 5-9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The winner of Indiana/Oregon will get No. 1 seed USC on Friday.
