IU Football Recruiting: Fort Wayne 2020 OL Randy Holtz Commits to Hoosiers

With the early signing period just hours away, the final pieces to Indiana’s 2020 recruiting class are falling into place.

In-state offensive tackle Randy Holtz announced via Twitter today that he has committed to Indiana.

The 6-foot-6 and 350 pound Holtz attends Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Ind.  He was an integral part of a Snider offense that averaged 35.5 points per game.

Holtz is one of six finalists for Indiana’s Mr. Football Award, and he was named the Positional Mr. Football Award winner at offensive line, which means he was voted as the top offensive lineman in the state of Indiana.

A three star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, Holtz is rated as the No. 158 offensive tackle in the country by that service.

Holtz becomes the 18th high school senior member of the IU 2020 scholarship recruiting class.

The college football early signing period begins on Wednesday, December 18.  You can see Indiana full list of 2020 commits here.
