The first of four availability reports ahead of Indiana’s matchup against Rutgers was released on Wednesday evening.
Starting running back Turbo Richard and linebacker Rolijah Hardy were both listed as probable, providing further support for head coach Curt Cignetti’s saying earlier this week both have a good chance to play against Rutgers.
The surprise addition to the report is edge rusher Daniel Ndukwe, who is listed as out for this weekend. He has played 87 snaps this season and has four quarterback pressures. Defensive back Carson Williams, receiver Lebron Bond and running back Khobie Martin are all out as well. None of the latter three have had a meaningful role thus far due to their injuries.
Cornerback A.J. Harris appears to be trending favorably after a week one lower leg injury. He’s advanced from doubtful last week to questionable this week. Harris was a week one starter for the Hoosiers.
Running back Sean Cuono joins Harris with a questionable tag, and that’s notable because Cuono is ostensibly the No. 2 back if Richard cannot play.
No. 5/6 Indiana (4-0) faces Rutgers (1-3) at 8 p.m. ET Saturday evening in New Jersey (BTN).
