Indiana at Illinois: Game Notes and Side by Side Statistical Comparison

GAME NOTES:  The Indiana Hoosiers (12-8, 5-3) travel to Illinois to face the Fighting Illini (10-11, 0-8) on Wednesday night at the State Farm Center.  The tip-off is set for 9:00 PM and the game will be broadcast on BTN with Kevin Kugler and Shon Morris on the call.  Both teams are coming off quick turnarounds after playing on Monday night.  The Hoosiers defeated Maryland 71-68 and Illinois lost at home to Michigan State, 87-74.

Indiana leads the all-time series over Illinois 90-86.  The Hoosiers won the only game last year, 96-80 at Illinois.

Brad Underwood is in his 1st year of leading the Illinois program.  He previously coached at Oklahoma State and Stephen F. Austin.

Vegas has IU as a 2-point underdog.  KenPom puts Illinois as a 3 point favorite and gives the Hoosiers a 41% chance of victory.
