Curt Cignetti’s bobblehead outsells the Pope

    More popular than who?

Earlier this week the IU football coach Curt Cignetti bobbleheads became the best-selling bobbleheads of 2025.

Whose bobbleheads did Cignetti pass to get there?

    Pope Leo XIV.

“We had a feeling that the Coach Curt Cignetti bobbleheads would be extremely popular given how successful he has been in his two years at the helm of the Indiana football program, but we’ve been blown away by the level of excitement from fans,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

In mid-November the first Coach Cignetti Bobblehead was unveiled.  It featured the coach behind the podium from the December 23rd, 2023, National Signing Day press conference when Cignetti was asked how he sells the vision of his culture to recruits and said, “It’s pretty simple. I win. Google me.” That bobblehead, which is individually numbered to 2,023, sold out in record time on Monday, November 24th.

A second bobblehead of Cignetti has him standing on a football field base bearing his name, in his signature pose with his hands on his side, wearing a headset with a slight scowling expression and sporting an Indiana Hoosiers long-sleeved shirt. The bobbleheads, which will be individually numbered, are available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store.

These mark the first bobbleheads of Coach Cignetti, and are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Indiana University Bloomington and in conjunction with Coach Cignetti.

Cignetti is donating all his proceeds from the sale of both bobbleheads to Riley Children’s Hospital.
