The Big Ten Network released a condensed one-hour replay of Indiana’s emotional 2007 win over Purdue. Indiana gave away a 24-3 lead, but Kicker Austin Starr made a 49-yard field goal in the final minute to clinch the win. The class of 2027 has a pair of in-state prospects firmly on the IU basketball radar. The new Indiana staff has offered both 6-foot-1 Jason Gardner, Jr. (Fishers, Ind., Fishers H.S.) and 6-foot-10 Isaiah Hill (Indianapolis, Ind., Pike H.S.).  Both players are 4-stars and well inside the national top-100 in the rising junior class. When it comes to IU football in the Curt Cignetti era, former college All-American, NFL linebacker and long-time ESPN analyst David Pollack is a believer. For the third time in his career, Kyle Schwarber is an MLB All-Star. Schwarber will be returning to the Midsummer Classic for the first time since 2022 — his debut season with the Philadelphia Phillies. The former IU baseball star will serve as the backup DH for the NL. At least three former IU basketball players will be in action as the NBA tips off Summer League action this weekend. Games in California and Utah tip Saturday, and in Las Vegas next week. The complete picture for Darian DeVries’ first season running IU basketball is now clear. After committing to Indiana on Friday, class of 2027 guard Prince-Alexander Moody wasted no time getting to know Hoosier fans. The 6-foot-3 Moody received the typical enthusiastic welcome from IU supporters on social media, and the energetic Maryland product spent a good chunk of his weekend interacting with them.
