Below is the latest IU basketball scholarship chart, rolled forward to the 2025-26 season. We’ve also updated the chart to reflect the change to allow up 15 men’s basketball players on scholarship beginning in 2025. Although 15 players may be allowed it is likely the Hoosiers will add no more than 13 players.  Scholarship additions over 13 are expected to adversely impact the amount of revenue allowed to be shared with athletes, creating a deterrent for exceeding 13. Watch below spring highlights of class of 2026 forward Anthony Thompson.  The 6-foot-8 Thompson (Western Reserve H.S., Ohio) is a 5-star and the No. 14 player in the 2026 class. Thompson was originally recruited by the prior staff, and the new crew has continued the pursuit and has IU in contention. Indiana is one of the main school in pursuit of Thompson, and they’re working to get him on campus for a senior year official visit. Watch below spring highlights of class of 2026 IU basketball recruiting target Tay Kinney. On the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring, Kinney is averaging 19.8 points and 4.3 assists this year playing for Wildcat Select.  Adidas recently announced its eight-person 2025 high school NIL class, which included Kinney.  Indiana, of course, is an Adidas school. One of the main questions stemming from the recent approval of the House settlement is whether sports that don’t generate positive cash flow will be impacted. With schools like Indiana now facing a new $20 million annual expense in the form of revenue sharing, cuts have to be made somewhere. Indiana concluded its first week of organized team activities on Friday and posted the below video. The video provided some insight into how new head coach Darian DeVries pushes players in workouts. “You put yourselves at a max level every single day.  Because if you do, we’re going to have something special for some people,” he said. Indiana welcomed 11 new players on campus this week, including 10 transfers and freshman Trent Sisley.
