For the 2021-22 season, he averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. He shot 46.8 percent from the field including 37.4 percent from three on 123 attempts, and 71.3 percent from the stripe. Gunn was named the MVP of the Indiana vs. Kentucky All-Stars series after scoring 41 points in two games. Former IU baseball star and current Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber has hit 28 home runs over the last two months of June. According to Jayson Stark of the Athletic, he has the highest June home run rate of any player in the modern era, including second place Babe Ruth. “That’s a pretty cool stat,” Schwarber said in the interview below.
