32 years after he led Jeffersonville to a state title as a player, Sherron Wilkerson repeated the accomplishment as the head coach. With IU coach Darian DeVries in attendance, Wilkerson’s Jeffersonville squad beat Fishers 67-66 in overtime to win the Indiana 4A crown. The outcome ended a 43-game winning streak by Fishers.
