Indiana suffered a home loss on Saturday afternoon against the Wisconsin Badgers in their last regular season game of the year. After a late run down the stretch, the Badgers defeated Indiana 60-56 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. in what was a low scoring contest. Every win is big for an Indiana team vying for a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Wednesday night’s victory over Minnesota was not always pretty, but IU took care of business on their home floor. The Hoosiers defeated the Minnesota 72-67 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana in what was a tightly contested game throughout. Indiana came up just short of capturing a quadrant one victory to further cement their case to make the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers fell by a score of 67-66 to the Fighting Illini at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois in what was a tightly contested game throughout on Sunday afternoon. In what was an important road game for Indiana to look to continue to build momentum, the struggles against in-state rival Purdue continued. Indiana lost 57-49 on Thursday night at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind. and it has now lost 10 of their last 11 games against the Boilermakers. IU kept the game close for the majority of the first half. Sitting on the bubble and battling for a bid to the NCAA Tournament, Indiana gave their postseason resume a big boost by beating No. 9 Penn State on Sunday afternoon. IU knocked off the Nittany Lions 68-60 at Assembly Hal in what was a tightly contested game down the stretch. The formula for coming away victorious was very similar to the game plan against the Golden Gophers, which was to get the ball inside to Trayce Jackson-Davis and control the paint. Indiana has had several forgettable performances on the road this season. Sunday at Michigan was just the latest example as the Hoosiers lost 89-65 at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. When IU has been at their best this season offensively, they have won the rebounding battle and have gotten to the foul line. That was not the case today.
