Watch below the senior season highlights of class of 2022 QB and IU football recruiting target Tanner Bailey. Indiana is in the market for a quarterback after 2022 recruit Josh Hoover decommitted and starter Michael Penix, Jr. put his name in the transfer portal.
Bailey, is a 4-star prospect and the No. 14 quarterback in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite.
Bailey passed for 6,200 yards and 71 touchdowns over his career while leading the Gordo Greenwave in Alabama. He helped Gordo to the 2020 AHSAA state championship game and led the Greenwave to the another 10-win season as a senior.
Multiple outlets (Indy Star/247Sports) are reporting Bailey is visiting Indiana this weekend. He recently decommitted from Oregon after their coaching change. Bailey had offers from most SEC schools, including Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU. He also had offers from Florida State, Michigan, Duke, and more.
