The Daily Hoosier caught up with class of 2021 South Bend, Ind. recruiting target Blake Wesley on Saturday afternoon in Fort Wayne. Wesley’s Indy Heat Nike EYBL AAU squad played in their first competitive action of the season at the Sport One Fieldhouse.
One of the top recruiting targets on the board for IU in the incoming senior class, the 6-foot-5 Wesley led the South Bend area by averaging 26 points per game as a junior for Riley High School. Wesley is ranked No. 88 overall in the 2021 class according to the 247Sports Composite, and he is the No. 18 shooting guard nationally according to that service.
