Below are more than four minutes of summer AAU highlights of top IU 2021 recruiting target Trey Kaufman. With AAU action more regional right now, Kaufman has been facing inferior competition — and he has been dominant while showing off his versatile inside/out game.
The reigning Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year, Kaufman averaged 25.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.1 steals per contest for Silver Creek (Sellersburg, Ind.) The 6-foot-9 Kaufman helped lead the Dragons to a 25-2 mark before the season was interrupted. He shot 64 percent from the floor overall, including 40 percent from three-point range.
