    BLOOMINGTON — Following along for live updates as IU football plays its home finale vs. Michigan State on Senior Day.  We’ll add key plays and highlights as they happen.

    FOURTH QUARTER

    Chris Freeman misses the field goal. Final: Michigan State 24 Indiana 21

    TOUCHDOWN: Michigan State take the lead as Maliq Carr catches his second touchdown of the game. 1:19 left with three timeouts.

    TOUCHDOWN: Sorsby goes short to Trey Walker for the 8-yard touchdown. 4:06 left on the clock. 21-17, Hoosiers.

    FIELD GOAL: Jonathan Kim knocks it in from 36 yards to put MSU up 17-14. 9:26 left in the game.

    Indiana turns it over on downs. The Spartans take over possession at their own 33 with 12:35 left.

    THIRD QUARTER

    End of third quarter: Michigan State 14 Indiana 14. Indiana with the ball on their own 42.

    3-and-out forced by Indiana after the interception. Hoosiers take over at their own 1 after the punt.

    INTERCEPTION: Jamari Sharp picks off Houser’s throw but fumbles the ball as he’s brought down. Spartans will have possession at Indiana’s 48.

    3-and-out forces a punt from Indiana at their own half-yard line. Evans with a monster punt to put Michigan State at their own 43. 7:21 left in the third quarter.

    Indiana forces a 3-and-out on Michigan State’s opening drive of the second half. DeQuece Carter returns the punt to Indiana’s 25.

    TOUCHDOWN: Sorsby completes a 3-yard pass to James Bomba for his first touchdown on the year. All square at 14 with 10:54 left in the third quarter.

    HALFTIME STATS

    SECOND QUARTER

    Halftime: Michigan State 14 Indiana 7

    Chris Freeman with a 45-yard missed field goal to end the half.

    TOUCHDOWN: Michigan State’s Montorie Foster makes an amazing one-handed grab and fights his way into the endzone. Indiana had Foster double covered and missed a few tackles. 14-7, Spartans.

    3-and-out gives the Spartans back the ball at their own 22. 2:21 left to play. Michigan State also has two timeouts.

    Michigan State turn it over on downs after a 4th and 1 sneak is short of the line to gain. 1st and 10 for Indiana at their own 28 with 3:15 left in the first half.

    TOUCHDOWN: Trent Howland with three straight runs up the middle and punches it in for the touchdown. Chris Freeman’s point after is good. All tied up at 7 with 9:29 left in the half.

    3-and-out for Michigan State now. DeQuece Carter with the fair catch at Indiana’s own 11.

    Another 3-and-out as Sorsby misses his target on third down. Evans punt is downed at Michigan State’s 33.

    FIRST QUARTER

    INTERCEPTION: Josh Sanguinetti locates the deep ball and picks off Houser. Indiana to start their drive at their own 7.

    3-and-out for Indiana deep in their own territory, and the punt team comes out. Michigan State drive starts at their own 46.

    Hoosiers get a stop of their own as Michigan State punts on 4th down. Indiana to start their drive at their own 10.

    Indiana’s drive stalls after Sorsby overthrows Lucas on third down. James Evans to punt.

    TOUCHDOWN: Indiana gives up an opening drive touchdown. Caitin Houser finds a receiver in the endzone for the 17-yard score in double coverage. Kick is good, 7-0 Michigan State.

    Indiana wins the toss and defers to the 2nd half.
