Indiana and UNCG tip-off at 6:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

    ———————————————————————–

FINAL: Indiana 69, UNC Greensboro 58

    SECOND HALF

Timeout with 2:36 left, and Indiana leads 64-54.

    • Certainly not the most impressive game Indiana has played so far, but their defense has been fairly solid. UNCG has shot 19-58 from the field for 32.8 percent. The Spartans are also 9-30 from threes.

Indiana leads 62-49 with 6:15 left in the game.

    • Hoosiers shooting numbers have not been the prettiest stat to look at so far on the night. 22-50 from the field overall, which is good for 44 percent. 5-16 from three.

Timeout UNCG and Indiana leads 52-42 with 11:39 left.

    • Luke Goode knocked down his first three of the game and was pretty fired up heading into the timeout. Been a struggle for him so far in the year. He was 2-10 from three heading into the game.
    • Bryson Tucker has also had a pretty good half. He leads all scorers in the half with seven points.

Indiana leads 40-39 with 15:57 left in the game.

    • UNCG has controlled the first four minutes of this half thus far. 5-10 from the field and have knocked down two threes.
    • As for the Hoosiers, it could have certainly gone better. No makes on their last four field goal attempts.

Indiana with a quick timeout with 18:20 left in the game as their lead is cut to 39-35.

    • Not a clinic on how to come out of halftime, if you’re the Hoosiers. Indiana’s flat starts to halves are not going to fair well against other teams.

HALFTIME: Indiana 36, UNC Greensboro 27

    FIRST HALF

Indiana leads 28-20 with 3:18 left in the half.

    • This game has completely flipped upside down. The Hoosiers are up to seven turnovers and have allowed eight offensive rebounds. UNCG leads the total rebounding margin 16-14.
    • Myles Rice has done a good job pacing Indiana’s offense when he’s in the game. He has 10 points and four assists so far.

Media timeout and the Hoosiers lead 21-9.

    • Scoring drought for Indiana and their second unit. No points for IU for the past three minutes and they’re one for their last seven.
    • Still, Hoosiers have done phenomenal on the defensive side. UNCG is 4-18 from the field.

Timeout at 12:19 by Indiana, and they lead 19-5.

    • Indiana’s perimeter defense is continuing to improve in every game they play. UNCG is 2-11 from the field, and the Hoosiers have forced four turnovers.

Indiana leads 12-3 with 15:29 left in the first half.

    • Good start offensively for IU. Myles Rice has two early threes and Ballo has four points of his own.
    • The defense has also done pretty well. Hoosiers forced a shot clock violation on UNCG’s first offensive possession.

    PREGAME NOTES

Starters the same: Rice, Carlyle, Mgbako, Reneau, Ballo

Indiana’s Gabe Cupps and Jakai Newton are listed as OUT for tonight.

Pretty light crowd with 25 minutes until the tip, which isn’t surprising. IU is on Thanksgiving break next week, and Bloomington got hit with a bit of snow today. Wouldn’t expect a huge fan turnout tonight.

Anthony Leal, who has been out the past few games, is warming up.
