Indiana and Minnesota tip-off at 6:30 p.m. ET on BTN.

    ———————————————————————–

    FINAL: Indiana 82, Minnesota 67

    SECOND HALF

Indiana leads 75-59 with 3:48 left.

    • Five Hoosiers in double figures on the night. Reneau, Tucker, Ballo, Mgbako, and Carlyle. Quiet nice for Rice, who’s had two points.

Timeout by Woodson as Indiana leads 68-51 with 8:10 to play.

    • Carlyle will pick up his fourth foul and head to the bench. Still a great night for him. Up to 11 points, five assists and three rebounds.
    • Dawson Garcia has had a great night for Minnesota. 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting. No other double-figure scorers for the Gophers so far tonight.

Media timeout with 11:31 left to play.

    • Bryson Tucker with another midrange bucket. 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting.

Hoosiers maintain a 55-41 lead with 13 minutes to play.

    • For those wondering about Rice, he hasn’t missed a step. Had a bucket and transition and has looked fine.
    • Carlyle has had limited minutes but has been a good piece off the bench. Six points with two rebounds and four assists. +11 in box plus/minus as well.

Indiana up 50-33 through the first media timeout.

    • The Hoosiers are holding Minnesota pretty well on the defensive end. 0-for-6 start for the Gophers.

    HALFTIME: Indiana 44, Minnesota 31

    FIRST HALF

Indiana with a 36-26 lead with 3:17 left.

    • 15-1 run in favor of Indiana. Oumar Ballo leads all scorers with 11.
    • Myles Rice had to be substituted out after a sequence on the offensive end. Looked like his leg bothering him.

Hoosiers take a 30-23 lead with 7:29 left in the half.

    • Great few sequences on offense for Indiana led by Bryson Tucker. Eight early points off the bench and three rebounds.
    • Minnesota has missed their last four attempts from the field. Four minute scoring drought overall as well.

The Gophers maintain a 22-20 lead, 11:25 left in the first half.

    • The Hoosiers have had multiple chances to go on runs, but haven’t quite nailed everything in defensively. Both teams are shooting over 70 percent from the field.
    • 26 points have been scored in the paint between both teams. Mackenzie Mgbako has the only made 3-pointer of the evening so far. Old school ball through the first nine minutes.

Minnesota up 12-10 with 15:42 left in the first half.

    • Dawson Garcia with a hot start for Minnesota with six points early. IU has Reneau matched up on Garcia, which isn’t shocking due to Garcia’s mobility. Will be an interesting matchup to follow.
    • Indiana making it an emphasis to get the ball inside early. Ballo with three, and Reneau has four.

    PREGAME NOTES

    • Kanaan Carlyle is available to play tonight. First game back since Gonzaga in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
    • Gabe Cupps remains OUT.
    • Oumar Ballo was listed as questionable coming into tonight, but he is taking part in pregame warmups.
    • Galloway will start over Carlyle, along with Rice, Mgbako, Reneau, and Ballo.
