Two of Indiana’s shot blocking legends have become pit masters.
George Leach and Jeff Newton were key pieces of Indiana’s 2002 national finalist team, and now the rim protectors are serving Charlotte, N.C.’s finest ribs.
Newton is the program’s all-time leader in blocked shots. He is also a top 40 all-time scorer at IU and in the top 20 on the rebounding list.
Leach is No. 5 on IU’s all-time blocked shots list.
