Indiana gets rematch with Oregon in first Big Ten Tournament game

Indiana’s first Big Ten Tournament game was locked in with their 66-60 win over Ohio State Saturday.

The Hoosiers will be the No. 9 seed next week and will face No. 8 Oregon in a rematch of a game played earlier this week in Eugene.

IU and the Ducks will tip at Noon ET Thursday on BTN.  It will be a 9 a.m. PT tip for Oregon.  The IU women’s team defeated Oregon earlier this week in the same 8/9 game and time slot.

Oregon defeated IU 73-64 Tuesday in a game the Hoosiers led 64-63 with less than two minutes to play.

The winner will face No. 1 seed Michigan State on Friday at Noon.  Indiana defeated MSU in East Lansing last month.

The 2025 Big Ten Tournament will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.  The Hoosiers will look to solidify their candidacy for the NCAA Tournament with a strong showing at the event.

Under head coach Mike Woodson, the Hoosiers have won at least one Big Ten Tournament game in each of the least three years.  They made the semifinals in 2022 and 2023, and won their opener a year ago.  IU is 4-3 in the event under Woodson.

We’ll share the complete Big Ten Tournament bracket when it is finalized on Sunday evening.
