Hulls, Sheehey and Watford in Super Sixteen of The Basketball Tournament | How to Watch

Former Indiana stars Jordan Hulls, Will Sheehey and Christian Watford are competing for a piece of a $2 million prize in The Basketball Tournament.  This year’s edition marks the fifth for the winner-take-all event.

The former Hoosier duo of Hulls and Sheehey plays for Armored Athlete.  They’ll face off Saturday against Boeheim’s Army, a group of former Syracuse players.  The matchup is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. in Atlanta.

Watford plays for a team called Eberlein Drive.  They’ll play Saturday against GaelForce, a group of former St. Mary’s players.  That contest is set for Saturday at 5 p.m. in Atlanta.

Beyond Hulls and Sheehey, the other recognizable name for IU fans on the Armored Athlete roster is Jon Octeus, who played one season at Purdue.  The best known name on Watford’s team besides Watford himself is likely James Michael McAdoo, who played for North Carolina.

Hulls has scored eight points in each of the first two games, including a big three point shot in the second round that put Armored Athlete within one point of victory.  You can see that shot towards the end of this video:

Sheehey has not appeared in a game yet.  Julian Gamble PF (Miami) and Terrico White SG (Ole Miss) have been the top two scorers thus far for Armored Athlete.

Watford has not appeared in a game yet for Eberlein Drive.  The leaders on that team have been Donald Sloan PG (Texas A&M), Jerome Randle PG (Cal) and Alex Kirk C (New Mexico)

The Boeheim team includes familiar names to Hoosier fans such as Brandon Triche and Hakim Warrick.

You can see the full bracket for the tournament here.
