Nine former IU basketball stars are playing at the highest level of the game during the 2019-20 season.  We will be monitoring their seasons with monthly updates.

Below we summarize their year to date performance with NBA stats through the first six weeks of the season and provide a brief update on each player.

    OG Anunoby – Toronto

With Kawhi Leonard gone, Anunoby has assumed a bigger role in Toronto, and so far he is delivering with career highs nearly across the board.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

    Games/Games Started – 18/18

    MPG – 30.1 (career high)
    Points – 11.2 (career high)
    Rebounds – 5.6 (career high)
    Assists – 1.7 (career high)
    Blocks – .9 (career high)
    Steals – 1.3 (career high)
    FG% – .530 (career high)
    3FG% – .470 (career high)
    FT% – .520

    Thomas Bryant – Washington

Under a new contract, Bryant is already expanding on a surprise breakout 2018-19 season with increased production and a prominent role in Washington.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

    Games/Games Started – 18/18

    MPG – 28.4 (career high)
    Points – 13.9 (career high)

    FG% – .549
    3FG% – .286
    FT% – .736

    Yogi Ferrell – Sacramento

An early season injury to Kings’ starting point guard De’Aaron Fox has created an opportunity for a bigger role for Ferrell thus far.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

    Games/Games Started – 14/0

    MPG – 12.4
    Points – 4.5

    Steals – .3
    FG% – .400
    3FG% – .300
    FT% – .867

    Eric Gordon – Houston

It has been a season of change and frustration thus far for Gordon.  First he has had to adapt to the addition of Russell Westbrook to the Rockets’ backcourt, and then struggles shooting the ball and ultimately knee surgery have derailed his season.  Gordon is expected back by early January.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

    Romeo Langford – Boston

The injury bug has followed Langford to the NBA.  An ankle injury is the latest ailment after other bumps and bruises slowed Langford down right about the time he was fully cleared from thumb surgery.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

Langford made one brief appearance for Boston and did not accumulate any NBA statistics.  He appeared in three games with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA’s G-League and averaged 13.7 points in 19.3 minutes per contest.

    Juwan Morgan – Utah

Morgan signed an NBA contract with Jazz after a strong showing in the G-League.

Morgan made his first and only appearance to date in Indiana against the Pacers.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

Morgan played three minutes against Indiana and accumulated a rebound and a foul.  Playing five games for the Salt Lake City Stars in the G-League, Morgan averaged 15.6 points and 8 rebounds while shooting 71.8% from the field overall including 42.9% from three-point range.

    Victor Oladipo – Indiana

Oladipo’s long recovery from a major knee injury is almost complete.  The two time NBA All-Star is projected to return to the Pacers in late December or early January.

    Noah Vonleh – Minnesota

Vonleh signed with Minnesota during the offseason and has thus far seen a much more diminished role this year after a highly productive 2018-19 season in New York.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

    Games/Games Started -14/1

    MPG – 12.6

    3FG% – .100
    FT% – .842 (career high)

    Cody Zeller – Charlotte

Zeller has dealt with a couple minor injuries but when healthy he is putting up some of the best numbers of his career in his seventh season in the NBA.  He is also evolving his game to fit the modern league, making 12-of-33 attempts from three point range.

    2019-20 YTD Stats:

    Games/Games Started – 18/17
