Former Indiana running back Ernie Thompson joined The Ride with JMV to discuss graduating from college at the age of 50 and much more.
Thompson played for the IU football program from 1989 to 1990. He rushed for 311 yards at Indiana and was selected in the 12th round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.
Thompson spent the 1991 season with the Rams and 1993 with the Kansas City Chiefs. For his NFL career Thompson rushed 13 times for 37 yards and scored a touchdown. He also caught 6 passes for 68 yards and added another score.
