The 6-foot-9 Jackson-Davis covered a number of topics including Indiana’s solid play over the last week and his emergence as a basketball star in high school. A redshirt senior from Minnesota, Thompson is averaging 10.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 steals and .7 blocks per game in 27.1 minutes per game. Playing in his first game action since the summer, IU basketball class of 2022 signee C.J. Gunn returned from injury and made a major splash this week. According to his father, Gunn finished with 34 points on 14-of-28 shooting, 6-of-11 from three, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 turnovers. Gunn’s Lawrence North (Indianapolis) squad lost to Tindley 88-79. Tolbert won basketball letters as the Hoosiers’ starting center in 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1981. He was teammates with head coach Mike Woodson his first three seasons.
