The Indiana University football team held their second scrimmage on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Afterwards, IU released video of Tom Allen and Mike DeBord discussing their take on what transpired.
Here are the key notes from the IU coaches:
- The defense made plays and had big stops when they had to after initially letting the offense have their way a bit. Allen thought the defense and special teams tackled well.
- On the quarterbacks, Allen indicated that it is “becoming more clear each day.”
- Look for a decision to be made this week.
- Overall, Allen was very pleased with the effort at camp.
- DeBord thought the offense had good moments, but struggled on 3rd and short.
- Freshman running back Stevie Scott was mentioned again as someone who is impressing.
