Indiana cornerback Tiawan Mullen was named a second-team preseason All-American by the Sporting News, which released its preseason 2021 College Football All-America team on Tuesday.
Mullen was named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America in 2020, becoming the first Indiana cornerback in history to be named a first-team All-American by any recognized organization and just the second Indiana cornerback to be named to any All-American team.
Mullen was named first-team All-Big Ten by the media and second-team by the coaches, recording 38 tackles including 4.5 for loss and 3.5 sacks. He also had three interceptions and four pass breakups.
