Grace Berger returns for Indiana women’s basketball

Indiana women’s basketball standout Grace Berger is back.

The senior is starting for the Hoosiers on Sunday at Northwestern after an injury cost her more than a month of game action. The game tips off at 3 p.m. ET on BTN+.

The All-American missed eight games after suffering a knee injury early in IU’s game against Auburn in the Las Vegas Invitational on November 25. She was initially ruled out indefinitely, but seemed to be making progress. She no longer needed crutches to get around, and later ditched the knee brace. But no timetable was given on her return, until IU women’s basketball posted Sunday’s starting lineup that included Berger.

Sydney Parrish, who took Berger’s spot in the lineup while she was hurt, remains in the starting five. Sara Scalia is coming off the bench for IU.
