Former IU one and done forward Noah Vonleh is on the move again. According to various reports, Vonleh has signed a one year, $2 million free agent contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 23 year old Vonleh was drafted ninth overall by Charlotte in 2014 after spending one season at Indiana. He has played on four different teams in five NBA seasons, most recently with the Knicks, where he started 57 of 68 games. Defensive tackle DeMarcus Elliott hails from Garden City, Kansas where he attended both high school and a year of junior college. Elliott helped Garden City reach the 2018 JUCO national title game after a season that saw him produce 19 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss, and one sack. NBA Summer League play begins on Monday and at least one former IU player will be in action. Juwan Morgan is set to play for the Utah Jazz on a summer league contract. Since he is with Utah, Morgan will get the benefit of a few extra games, playing in both the Salt Lake and Las Vegas sessions. Morgan will need to show the ability to knock down outside shots and defend the perimeter in order to improve his chances of landing on an NBA roster.
