The COVID-19 delayed season begins on Nov. 25, and Indiana appears to be set to host Tennessee Tech on that date. The Hoosiers are listed on Tennessee Tech’s schedule on the program’s website. Indiana won for the first time since 1993 as a nationally ranked team on Saturday with a 37-21 triumph against Rutgers. As a result, the 2-0 Hoosiers moved up to No. 13 in the coaches poll on Sunday. In their 2019 meeting Indiana’s defense produced a takeaway on the first play from scrimmage against Rutgers. It took a little longer in 2020, but a flurry of Hoosier interceptions overwhelmed the Scarlet Knights at SHI Stadium. IU produced three interceptions over the course of four Rutgers drives spanning the 2nd and 3rd quarters and the Hoosiers scored on each of their resulting drives.
