The Daily Hoosier Report: The Latest in Free IU Coverage and Recruiting News (06/12)

Every day we scour the internet and social media to bring you the best in IU and Big Ten news.  Because you have better things to do with your money, we always try to make sure everything presented here is free.  Here’s today’s latest free IU Athletics and Big Ten coverage + recruiting news from around the net:

  • The Daily Hoosier takes a look at some of the more notable IU recruiting classes of all-time with the class of 2018 arriving on campus today.
  • Romeo Langford has high praise for Robert Phinisee.
  • Robert Johnson gets a pre-draft workout with the Pacers.  According to his Instagram account, he also worked out for Oklahoma City today.
  • Inside the Hall has each of Romeo Langford, Damezi Anderson and Robert Phinisee’s highlights from the Indiana All-Stars.  We also have a more Romeo-centric series here.
  • IUBase has an end of season Talking Hoosier Baseball podcast here.

Listen to Justin Smith on the Kent Sterling show:

This will be an important one to watch for IU fans…

  • As you can see above, Trendon Watford indicated via Twitter that he will be cutting his list soon.  That probably means that someone is working on his graphic to Tweet out as we speak.  We continue to believe that IU, Memphis, Alabama, and Kansas are in the lead here, not necessarily in that order.  More to come.
  • Keep an eye on Emanuel Miller, who says he still has an open recruitment and has visited Indiana.
  • Kentucky doesn’t offer Kira Lewis, Jr. on his visit.  Kentucky isn’t for everyone they say, or at least not if other more preferred alternatives accept offers first.
  • Five-star Isaiah Stewart discusses his visits to Indiana, Michigan State and Notre Dame here.
  • Watch Team USA featuring Matthew Hurt and Trayce Jackson-Davis live here tonight vs. Puerto Rico.  It should be a bit closer than last night’s 94 point romp over Panama.  Watch TJD’s highlights from last night here:

Free IU Athletics coverage — because “only $9.99 a month” is nearly $10,000 over a lifetime.
