I watched Haralson for about the 4th or 5th time this spring/summer on Saturday in Carmel at The Charlie Hughes event. This kid might be the best player in the state of Indiana right now even though he is just entering his sophomore year. Scored 26 points for Fishers H.S. against defending state champ Cathedral and Xavier Booker. Tough as nails, big strong, physical -- and a highly skilled 6-foot-6 point guard. Seems like a clear top-25 player, maybe a 5-star. Just so hard to believe he is only 15.
Had a chance to chat with Jalen and his high school coach over the weekend. Get to know him:
One minor, insignificant note, his dad told me Jalen's older brother attends IU (Kelley School of Business) right now. I don't think that moves the needle at all, but I do think IU is viewed in a positive light by the family.
Haralson is taking an unofficial visit to IU on Aug. 1 he tells TDH.
Indiana had four coaches at two of their games, and at least one coach at all five of their games this week.
Haralson has arrived in Bloomington for his first college visit today (8/1).
Haralson is planning to visit IU on 10/7 (Hoosier Hysteria) and 11/30 (UNC game), he tells the Daily Hoosier.
Haralson is No. 26 in the 2025 class according to Rivals.
Indiana went 4-deep for Haralson at 6:30 am on Friday, the first day of the recruiting period.

Haralson was invited to the Team USA minicamp, which conflicts with Hoosier Hysteria.
